Our Extended-Stayers
Our cats are our family, and they stay with us until we're comfortable sending them to their forever homes. We'd much rather keep them with us a little longer than send them home with just anybody. We're just as selective about their future families as we are with any of our kittens!
One of the wonderful things about welcoming an adult cat into your family is that their personality is already established. You'll have a much better idea of their preferences, habits, and the things that make them special.
Of course, as much as we'd love to, we can't keep them all forever. Our Extended-Stayers are retired breeding cats or kittens from previous litters who have spent a little extra time with us for one reason or another.
Up to date on vaccinations and veterinary care, these cats are ready for their next big adventure! They have plenty of love to give, big personalities to share, and are just waiting for the right family to call their own!
A Special Mother-Daughter Duo!
Elsa and Pink are mother and daughter, and we'd absolutely love to see them find their forever home together! However, adopting them as a pair isn't a requirement. They're also available individually, because what matters most to us is finding the right loving home for each of them.
Elsa - 3 years old
Meet Elsa, one of our lovely retired queens who is ready to begin an exciting new chapter! She’s also the proud mama of Pink, who is also looking for her forever home!
After spending time as part of our breeding program, Elsa is now looking for a loving forever home where she can settle in and enjoy the next stage of her life.
Elsa is quiet and affectionate and is just as content to curl up in a bed as she is on a lap. She’s laid back and always says hello to strangers. She has a mischievous streak, loves to climb, and will definitely let you know if she thinks your hands she be petting her instead of doing anything else!
Elsa has been part of our Countryside Cats family, and finding the right home for her is incredibly important to us. We're looking for someone who will appreciate her for the individual she is and provide her with the love, patience, and attention she deserves.
Retirement may mean the end of her breeding days, but there's still plenty of life, love, and adventure ahead!
Pink - 2 years old
Meet Pink, one of our Extended-Stayers who's been with us a little longer than originally expected!
Pink is from one of our previous litters and simply hasn't found the right forever home yet. But we believe the right match is worth waiting for!
Pink has spent that extra time growing up as part of our family, surrounded by familiar faces and everyday household life. She’s a gentle young lady who loves to climb, just like her mother. And, like her mother, can often be founds on top of the kitchen counters! If she’s not snoozing the day away in some high spot her other favorite place to curl up will be your lap. She is never one to shy away from all of the love she can get.
Now we're hoping to find that special someone who will give Pink a wonderful home and plenty of love for years to come.
Sometimes the best things really are worth waiting for!
